The FIVE comes with a wider forward outline. The wide point is just a little in front of the center. The main purpose of this design is to allow for more volume which translates to easier paddling and wave catching while still accommodating a short rail for tight arcs.
This combination allows it to paddle well, make drops and fit you into the barrel. The FIVE is the most user friendly high performance shortboard designed to charge from 3 to 8ft.
LIGHT CV-PRO CARBON VECTOR CONSTRUCTION
The new CV-PRO construction combines a custom manufactured 30kgs/sqm closed cell eps foam , silmar epoxy resin with gridnet carbon weaving in biax fiber. This results in outstanding flex and durability. The feeling is comparable to high performance PU clearboards yet last much longer.
The gridnet carbon fiber webbing is laminated in the bottom and rails and evenly distributes tension leading to not comparable liveliness and controlled flex pattern. CV-PRO construction boards feel fast, light and offer superior high performance flex pattern.

The BOMB Series is a modern blend of a Mini Log that takes high volume/low rocker, neutral bottom curves, small wave surfboard designs to allround versatility. Using a wide body with straight outline in the front and a pulled in hip tail the SHOT is capable to surf 1ft mush to solid 5ft waves. The SHOT has a very forgiving sweet spot and can be ridden from beginners stage. Because of the narrow hipped outline, you can surf this with a centered stance for down the line speed runs or step back on the tail and go vertical up and down. The bottom contours with a slight single to double concave v creates easy planning and fast acceleration. The Hypto Krypto V surfboard is a variation on the Hayden’s popular tri fin model, and while the shape remains the same, the 5-fin set up allows the board to be surfed as a quad or a thruster.
Hayden adjusted the fin placement on the Hypto V to maximise the overall performance of the convertible set-up, while maintaining the smooth feel that’s become synonymous with this board. The rear fins are quite centralised, and Hayden recommends using the quad rear fin he developed with Futures to fully capitalise on the potential of this model.
Compared to the tri fin, which surfs a little more freely and with nice pivot off the tail, the Hypto V offers a more connected feel to the wave face, with added forward drive and projection. The quad set-up will also feel very smooth down-the-line while encouraging a longer turn on the open face.
The Hypto Krypto continues to be the most versatile shape in the Haydenshapes range, and the 5 fin set-up gives the rider even more options. The outline resembles an old school twin fin in the nose, and when combined with a high amount of volume under the chest, enables it to paddle like a dream and support rider acceleration off the front foot.
Through the back the outline pulls into a rounded pintail creating a lot of curve around the back foot. This not only provides plenty of hold in the bigger stuff, but also allows you to draw tighter arcs in the pocket. The foil also refines out to a thinner, pinched rail to keep the board connected to the wave.
The design of the rocker, which is flat throughout with a little lift in the entry, is focused around speed, enabling surfers to make sections they don’t normally expect to make. The concave runs from a rolled vee in the entry to a slight single, blending into a vee double out the tail, which gives the board great speed and control from rail-to-rail.

The 7S Double Down aims to increase your wave count and improve your small wave game. This is the flattest surfboard in the 7S range, and it has the highest volume per size ratio. For these reasons, it’s fast, has plenty of flow, and is the perfect weapon for fatter, sub-par conditions.
OUTLINE: The nose and tail dimensions at 12” are the same, creating a larger sweet spot, and a more stable planning zone. The full nose further adds to the stability, and the ‘Corner Round’ tail allows the width to extend further back, while still achieving the smooth transitions between turns that a round tail is famous for.
ROCKER: With an emphasis on everyday conditions; flat equals flow, so the Double Down will slide into waves with ease, and maintain its speed over dead sections with minimal effort. Slight lift in the nose and tail will satisfy the more experienced rider looking for a summer groveller.
CONTOURS: Subtle yet effective, the slight concave up front creates lift when taking off, then a double concave starting in the mid zone leads into a shallow rolled vee off the tail. This bottom combination maintains exceptional speed in softer waves, yet provides a nice balance of control versus quick turning response when pivoting right off the tail.
PERFORMANCE: The Double Down is fast off the mark, and super easy to turn. Think summer beach breaks or soft point waves where you need a board with enough foam and buoyancy to get you going, but don’t want to restrict how you want to perform on a wave. While still targeted at surfer’s looking for a high volume modern fish shape, we believe this is our best Superfish yet; offering the perfect balance of stability and turning response.
OUTLINE: Wider nose, fuller outline up front, and parallel rails create a large stable platform through to middle to generate speed. We’ve eliminated the flyer making a smoother curve in the back half of the board. The tail outline tapers so you can make tighter radius turns when you position your back foot right on the tail. The swallow tail also adds bite especially in smoother conditions/
DESIGN: The return of the original step deck! Hayden adjusted the fin placement on the Hypto V to maximise the overall performance of the convertible set-up, while maintaining the smooth feel that’s become synonymous with this board. The rear fins are quite centralised, and Hayden recommends using the quad rear fin he developed with Futures to fully capitalise on the potential of this model.
Compared to the tri fin, which surfs a little more freely and with nice pivot off the tail, the Hypto V offers a more connected feel to the wave face, with added forward drive and projection. The quad set-up will also feel very smooth down-the-line while encouraging a longer turn on the open face.

When a surfboard is hard to align to a specific genre, its sometimes best left “Untitled”, although Hayden’s latest creation can be defined by words like speed, versatility and fun.
With a slightly fuller plan shape, this winged swallow tail shortboard has a flatter deck through the centre of the board, which puts more volume under the chest and between the feet providing amazing wave catching ability, and added stability when up and riding.
The entry rocker is nice and flat to allow the board to generate speed in average conditions, and get into waves early. The moderate amount of curve through the middle transitions into high tail rocker, which translates to speed and sensitivity off the tail you wouldn’t normally find in substandard conditions, and the confidence to turn in a reactive, tight arc.

OUTLINE: The longboard outline up front creates a huge stable zone under the front foot and chest, which is great for catching waves early and riding forward towards the nose. The tapered area pintail keeps the board manoeuvrable and adds control in bigger, steeper waves.
ROCKER: The low rocker is designed to glide effortlessly into waves and maintain down-the-line speed and acceleration. The subtle lift in the tail rocker promotes smooth gliding turns on the face.
CONTOURS: Pronounced vee-double concave starts under the front foot and runs all the way out the back maintaining ample manoeuvrability on an otherwise wide, higher volume board.
FIN: Three different fin configurations offer 3 types of performance. The single and 2 + 1 set-ups deliver a free-flowing ride while promoting longer lines. The quad offers a faster ride with tighter turning capacity.
AESTHETIC: The traditional resin tints, rail laps, and gloss finish not only look striking but also guarantees that each board has its own unique appearance.

The Mini Magic Dual-Core is a scaled down version of Walden's famous Magic Model. This is a good choice for a smaller surfer, people who are transitioning from a shortboard to a longboard or vice versa - longboarders wanting to go shorter while still maintaining some volume and float. The Dual-Core gives the Mini Magic the best of both style of constructions with PolyUrethane on the rails and EPS in the Center. The PU foam is laminated to the EPS with a TPU material which provides more pop and response.
